According to Novyny.live: On March 3, 2023, the National Bank of Ukraine raised the official US dollar exchange rate by 13 kopiykas, setting it at UAH 43.2343. This adjustment was mirrored in the banking sector, where the rate for selling dollars increased to UAH 43.55, while the buying rate reached UAH 43.10.
On the black market, the dollar's value fluctuated between UAH 43.321 and UAH 43.525. At 2:00 PM, the black market rate was UAH 43.525 for selling and UAH 43.368 for buying. The spread on the black market was nearly 16 kopiykas per dollar, indicating active trading in this segment. Currency fluctuations are closely watched in Ukraine, as they directly impact the cost of imports and the financial situation of citizens.

Ukraine holds $56 billion in foreign exchange reserves. Oleksiy Plotnikov noted that these substantial reserves provide the National Bank with the capacity to manage and stabilize official exchange rates.
