The Hryvnia Exchange Rate Stabilized: Analysts Shared Their Forecast for the Week.
According to inkorr.com: Experts' forecasts regarding the currency market in Ukraine for the upcoming week appear quite optimistic. Despite the elevated level of volatility, no significant fluctuations in exchange rates are expected. A multi-service FinTech company claims stability, noting that the main exchange rate corridors for the dollar and euro remain at previous levels.
'This is a natural stage for the market, when after a period of stability in August-September, more situational jumps occur. Despite the volatility, we see no reason to revise the short-term or medium-term forecast: the basic corridor for the dollar remains within 41.20-41.70 UAH/USD, and for the euro - 48.30-49.20 UAH/EUR,' analysts emphasized.
The spreads, which reflect the difference between buying and selling rates, play an important role in market dynamics. Changes in spreads indicate the stability of the financial system. Adjustments in buying and selling rates demonstrate a normal process, without significant deviations from usual indicators.
Recently, businesses have actively been buying currency, while the population is selling it. This interaction creates a balance in the market. In general, analysts hope for stability and believe that macroeconomic data in October will not significantly impact the currency market.
Expectations for Macroeconomic Data in October
'Overall, in October, the market is expecting a whole range of macroeconomic data and statements, particularly from the USA and the EU. The main advice is to stick to your own strategy and keep a cool head: short fluctuations are possible, but we do not currently see fundamental reasons to revise the exchange rate forecast,' emphasized the company.
Experts note that the currency market remains stable and does not experience significant fluctuations, despite recent increases in volatility. It is expected that the basic corridors for the dollar and euro will be maintained for the next week, and the spreads will demonstrate the stability of the financial system, ensuring the normal functioning of the market.
