During the international camp, he reportedly lost his passport and had to return home alone after Spain's crushing 6-0 victory over Turkey.
X @beyazfutbolHe was spotted trying to find his passport, rummaging through his belongings while boarding the bus after the game. As noted by the host of the Rest Is Football podcast, Alex Aljo, Jamal was unable to find his documents and returned to Spain alone.
Fans on social media joked that Turkish player Arda Güler might have stolen his passport to keep Jamal in Turkey for Real Madrid's benefit. One user wrote:
