Legendary Barcelona footballer announced retirement.
Ukrainian footballer Andres Iniesta announced his retirement. The player reported this on his Instagram page.
Iniesta's last team was the Emirates club from the UAE, where he recently played his 1000th match in his professional career. Previously, he played for Barcelona from Spain and Vissel Kobe from Japan.
Most of his career Iniesta spent with Barcelona. With this team, he became a four-Time winner of the Champions League and won the UEFA Super Cup three times. In addition, he was a triumphant of the Club World Cup. Iniesta also became the champion of Spain nine times and won the National Cup six times.
Iniesta also played for the national team of Spain, with which he played 141 matches and scored 14 goals, making 30 assists as well. He became European champion in 2008 and 2012, and also the world champion in 2010, where he scored the winning goal in the final.
