Lifecell changes its tariffs from November: millions of subscribers will receive roaming in the EU.
According to inkorr.com: One of Ukraine's leading mobile operators, lifecell, is preparing significant changes to its tariff plans. Starting from November 26, 2025, the company will introduce innovations that will affect millions of subscribers across the country.
The main change will be joining the European roaming space and implementing the 'roaming like at home' (RLAH) principle. This will allow subscribers to automatically use a certain amount of mobile internet in the European Union without additional costs.
The operator will also expand tariff capabilities while maintaining their cost. For example, gigabytes for use in EU countries will be automatically included in the tariff package without additional payments. Moreover, the conditions for users of various devices will improve.
- Gigabytes for use in the EU are now automatically included in the tariff package without additional costs;
- The old tariff prices remain while their usage possibilities are expanded.
Some users, particularly subscribers of the 'HandMade,' 'Do it Yourself,' and 'Unlimited CALL' tariffs, may lose the ability to use international roaming after November 26. However, the 'Unlimited CALL' tariff will receive positive changes and extend its coverage to the entire territory of Ukraine.
What subscribers need to know?
All subscribers whose tariffs are subject to changes will receive an SMS notification with detailed information. If the new terms do not suit them, subscribers can change their tariff for free until December 14, 2025. They also have the opportunity to terminate the contract unilaterally within seven days from the moment of receiving the notification about the changes.
lifecell is determined to ensure a smooth transition to a single European roaming space and to improve the quality of roaming services for its subscribers.
Such innovations indicate lifecell's commitment to adapting its services to European standards, which should enhance the convenience of mobile communication during travels. The experience of using tariff packages will make communication with friends and loved ones abroad much easier and more accessible.
