Lifecell Announces Price Increase for 'Business Startup' Plan Effective January 21.
Lifecell Adjusts Service Plan Pricing
According to Novyny.live: Mobile operator lifecell has announced a price increase for its 'Business Startup' service package, effective January 21, 2026. The monthly subscription cost will rise from 180 UAH to 220 UAH. Customers who make their payment before January 21, 2026, will retain the current rate of 180 UAH per month until the end of their billing cycle. This change is part of a broader trend of price adjustments in the Ukrainian telecom market.
Additional Options for Subscribers
From January 21 to February 21, 2026, subscribers will have the opportunity to switch to any other available plan at no extra cost. A company representative stated:
"Subscribers who wish to do so can change their tariff plan to any other available for connection, free of charge, from January 21, 2026, to February 21, 2026 (inclusive)."
The 'Business Startup' package includes:
- Unlimited data (speed reduced to 1 Mbps after 30 GB),
- 300 minutes for calls,
- Unlimited calls to other lifecell numbers,
- 100 SMS messages,
- 20 minutes for international calls,
- 2 free 'lifecell Plus' options.
Furthermore, customers who port their number to lifecell will receive a discounted rate of 160 UAH per month.
It is worth noting that competitor Vodafone also adjusted its pricing, effective January 14, 2026. These shifts in the market may influence consumer choice as Ukrainians select their mobile service provider. The announced changes by lifecell occur against a backdrop of widespread price increases among Ukraine's major telecom operators. This competitive environment could lead operators to revise their offerings and potentially introduce new deals to retain customers in a dynamic market.
