Lifecell Hikes Prices on 'Potuzhny' Plan by 50–100 UAH: New Rates Effective April 2.
Price Increase for the Promotional 'Potuzhny' Plan
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian mobile carrier lifecell has announced a rate hike for its promotional 'Potuzhny' tariff, set to take effect on April 2, 2026. Monthly costs will rise by 50 to 100 UAH, depending on the specific plan conditions.
Currently, the standard monthly price for 'Potuzhny' is 220 UAH. Under the new pricing, this will jump to 320 UAH—an increase of 100 UAH. Reduced rates for certain user groups will also go up: eligible customers will pay 270 UAH (a 70 UAH rise), while migrant clients will see their fee climb to 200 UAH (50 UAH more than the current price).
It is important to note that the promotional 'Potuzhny' plan is no longer open to new subscribers. Existing users can switch to a different plan for free until April 3, 2026, allowing them to find more favorable terms or avoid the higher charges.
Additional Features and Adjustments
Starting April 2, 2026, the data allowance for EU roaming will increase from 8 GB to 11 GB—a notable benefit for frequent travelers. Beyond 'Potuzhny', lifecell offers other plans, including:
- The 'Turbota' tariff for pensioners at 190 UAH per month;
- The entry-level 'Lifeset S' plan for 100 UAH per month.
The price adjustment is attributed to rising network maintenance costs and the need to improve service quality. Customers are encouraged to review the updated terms and select a plan that best fits their needs before the deadline.
This tariff increase mirrors broader trends in the mobile market, where operators are grappling with escalating operational expenses.

The revised pricing may influence consumer choices, as users have the option to move to other potentially more affordable plans. By expanding the EU data allowance, the operator aims to retain customer loyalty, especially among those who frequently travel abroad.
