lifecell launches anonymous calls: how to hide your number from callers.
lifecell presents a new service: anonymous outgoing calls
According to inkorr.com: The mobile operator lifecell in Ukraine has introduced a new feature 'Caller ID Blocking', allowing subscribers to avoid annoying calls and messages. Now users can hide their number when making a call.
The company's press service noted that this initiative arose in response to the increasing number of unwanted communications. One simple call can snowball into a torrent of advertising offers, so the new feature will help control this situation.
'You just called to clarify information, but received intrusive messages and annoying calls with offers? Now we have a solution!'
The service allows users to hide their phone number during calls. Subscribers can activate or deactivate this feature if they want to keep their number anonymous.
- The number will not be visible to the interlocutor;
- Activation can be done through the My lifecell app or using the USSD code *123*2547#;
- The service cost is 80 UAH for 4 weeks.
It should be noted that when calling other networks, there may be restrictions on using this service. Moreover, lifecell plans to change tariffs from November 1 this year.
The main goal of the 'Caller ID Blocking' service is to ensure anonymity during outgoing calls, control the visibility of your number, and avoid unwanted communications. To activate it, you need to use the app or USSD code, and the cost will be 80 UAH for 4 weeks.
Thus, the new service can be useful for many users looking for ways to protect their privacy during calls. In a modern world where unwanted contacts have become the norm, it's important to have the ability to control who sees your phone number. Considering the plans to change tariffs, this may become an additional argument for subscribers when choosing the operator's services.
