Lifecell Updates Its 'Zhara Light Roaming' Plan: More Data Starting June 10.
What's Changing in the 'Zhara Light Roaming' Plan
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell has announced adjustments to its 'Zhara Light Roaming' tariff, effective June 10, 2026. Subscribers will now receive 8 GB of data instead of the previous 7 GB while traveling in eight specific countries: the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Norway, Turkey, Montenegro, and Switzerland.

- Iceland
- Liechtenstein
- Moldova
- Norway
- Turkey
- Montenegro
- Switzerland
However, in a separate change, the data allowance for 35 other countries will decrease from 13 GB to 12 GB. These updates are designed to improve the international roaming experience for lifecell customers. Additionally, the 'Gigabytes Without Borders' promotion has been extended through December 31, 2026, giving users extra data options while abroad.
How to Activate the New Benefits
To take advantage of the updated terms, your SIM card must have been active for more than 56 days, and you need to have paid for at least two 4-week service packages. This requirement ensures that subscribers can fully access the new roaming features and ongoing promotions.
For context, lifecell also offers other plans like 'Lifecell S,' priced at 100 UAH per month, which includes 10 GB of data and unlimited home internet at speeds up to 1 Gbps. These options help lifecell stay competitive in Ukraine's mobile market.
The changes to lifecell's 'Zhara Light Roaming' plan reflect the company's effort to tailor its services to user needs and strengthen its market position.
The extension of the 'Gigabytes Without Borders' promotion also provides added value for subscribers who travel internationally. Such moves could be key to attracting new customers and retaining existing ones, especially amid growing competition in Ukraine's mobile sector.
