Research on chocolate consumption habits
The new bars have been launched against the backdrop of a Lindt & Sprüngli study showing that more than half of Britons (55%) choose chocolate after a main meal. 42% of respondents stated that they prefer chocolate over any other dessert, while half believe that the favorite time to consume it is between 5 PM and 9 PM.
“Our research showed that 40% of Britons prefer unique flavors and textures in chocolate. We know that chocolate is a favorite treat for a little pleasure after a meal.'
“We take pride in offering the best quality and taste with our iconic Swiss chocolate. So we are delighted to expand our Les Grandes and Creation lines to truly enhance this experience,” said Stefan Bruder, master chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli.
Lindt & Sprüngli, founded in 1845 in Zurich, Switzerland, is headquartered in Kilchberg. The brand is a significant player in the premium chocolate market in the UK, competing with Green & Black's and Hotel Chocolat.

Thus, Lindt continues to expand its product range, focusing on consumer preferences. The launch of new flavors demonstrates the diversity of British taste preferences and emphasizes the importance of innovation in the chocolate industry.
Furthermore, the results of the research confirm the relevance of chocolate products as an essential part of dessert culture in the UK, opening new opportunities for market expansion. Consumers are increasingly favoring individual and original flavors, which is becoming a trend in the modern chocolate business.
