“Lazy” pilots, nuclear weapons: Russia spreads fakes about F-16 fighters in Ukraine.
Fakes and disinformation about F-16 fighters that arrived in Ukraine have been debunked by the media. In particular, fakes about lazy Ukrainian pilots, delivered nuclear weapons, and the first plane crash were spread. However, this information has not been confirmed - these are fakes.
The fakes were spread on various social networks in different languages, including Russian and Romanian. Many Russian media actively cited a forged report about the poor training of Ukrainian pilots.
There were also videos with titles about a crashed F-16. However, these videos turned out to be fake. Some of them were filmed in Poland and showed a plane crash there, not in Ukraine.
In addition, an expert on a Russian TV channel claimed that Ukraine received nuclear weapons along with the F-16. However, this information is not confirmed.
In any case, the delivery of F-16 fighters was preceded by lengthy negotiations between Ukraine and NATO countries.
