Liverpool announced a squad of 22 players for the group stage of the Champions League, of which only 17 can be non-academy graduates.
Among the selected players is 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha, who is not considered a graduate as he has been at the club for less than two years.

Liverpool can also use their academy graduates without including them in the main squad. They will be part of List B, which can be changed before each match.
Possible candidates for List B include Trey Njoni and Jayden Dunns, who already participated in last year's tournament, and clubs can include an unlimited number of young stars.
