LLOYDS Bank has urged consumers to be mindful of their rights, as this year their customers have filed claims for refunds totaling £2 million. This comes amid the rise of suspicious websites and fake online stores that attract people with popular holiday products, including Labubu dolls and expensive advent calendars.According to The Sun: A chargeback, or payment return, is a type of card protection that allows consumers to get their money back in cases of fraud or unauthorized transactions.
“We urge all shoppers to check sellers before making purchases and use their rights to claim refunds,” the bank stated.
