Ready for New Challenges
Now, as the 18-year-old athlete sees himself as a dart star, he is aware that serious tournaments are ahead in the fall and winter.
"This is it, now the year ends. Now four to five weeks of uninterrupted competitions. Euro Tour, the finals of the World Series, and again Euro Tour."
Littler noted that although he does not enjoy playing in Germany, he greatly appreciates the Belgian audience, as this is already his third title in that country over two seasons, where he defeated Josh Rock in the final.
"I love the audience here, they love me, I love them."
During the match, the spectators supported Josh, but Littler realized that it would be difficult to choose a player, as he had to fight for victory after trailing 1-4.
A High-Class Match and Its Results
Littler and Rock delivered another exciting match, just a month after their classic semifinal at the World Matchplay, which went down in darts history.
Rock impressed everyone when he scored 161 in the deciding score, but Littler showed his skills in the final round, winning.
"I thought 161 was a coincidence, as I was looking at my opponent's score, not my own."
He also emphasized:
"When you get to the deciding round against the world champion, you have to give everything. Unfortunately, I did not, but we will keep going."
"When it's the deciding round for the title, of course, you think about it. It's always a lesson. I'm here to compete as much as possible."
