Littler lost to Greaves in the semifinal of the World Championship

According to The Sun: LUKE LITTLER sent a brief message to Beau Greaves after she hindered his chances of victory in two dart finals in one day.

The 18-year-old Littler faced the 21-year-old multiple-time world champion in the semifinals of the Youth World Championship on Monday.

Less than 24 hours before, Littler had won the final of the World Grand Prix, defeating Luke Humphries and winning a prize of £120,000.

But on that evening, he couldn't progress further as he lost to Greaves by a score of 6-5.

She secured a place in the final, which will take place in November, against Gian van Veen, finishing the game with an impressive finish on 84.

If Littler had reached the final, he would have had a chance to win two tournaments in one day, as the final on November 23 coincides with the final of the Players Championship, where Littler also plans to succeed.

This was the first time Greaves had beaten Littler, as she had previously lost to him in the PDC during the August ProTour.

However, both players may meet again in future tournaments.

Greaves finally received a tour card, giving her the opportunity to become a professional and participate in the biggest dart competitions.

She can still refuse this option and continue playing at the junior level, but it is likely that we will see Greaves in professional tournaments by 2026.

After losing to Greaves, Littler sent her a joking message.

He wrote:

“You best not to be taking that tour card!”

Later, Littler sent her another message in Instagram Stories, acknowledging Greaves' talent and adding:

“I had two 10 dart legs, missed D12 for a nine and still couldn’t win. Fair play to Beau Greaves, all the best in Minehead, some talent.”

Littler is not the only star supporting Greaves' rise to fame.

World number one Humphries believes she deserves her place among the best.

He hopes to play alongside her soon. Humphries noted:

“I think she’s an amazing player and she deserves it. I predict that she will flourish playing in it.”

In Humphries' opinion, Greaves will become a serious threat to other players in the near future.

Thus, the events at the World Championship once again confirmed the growing competition in the world of darts, and we should keep an eye on the further achievements of young talents like Littler and Greaves. Their development promises exciting moments on the darts arena in the coming years.
