On this Sunday evening in the northern suburb of Lyon, Caluire-et-Cuire, a teenager was killed.
Known only as Chems Z, the 16-year-old met up with two friends when he was attacked around 10:30 PM.
He sustained a stab wound to the upper body and was urgently hospitalized, but unfortunately, the doctors could not save him.
French media reports that the arrested 13-year-old player from Lyon, who lived nearby, has already been charged with murder.
His name is not disclosed for legal reasons due to his age.
