Agent Fofana: Player from Lyon ready to be bought by Liverpool and Manchester City.
Malik Fofana: Potential Transfer to a Top Club
According to The Sun: Malik Fofana's agent assures that the 20-year-old winger from Lyon could be a great addition to clubs like Liverpool or Manchester City.
Recently, several Premier League clubs showed interest in Fofana, but negotiations in the summer did not end with a successful transfer. However, the player's representative, Frederico Pena, believes that Fofana might change clubs very soon.
AFP GettyIn an interview with the Belgian newspaper De Morgen, he noted:
“This is the season where Fofana wants to demonstrate his abilities to the world, especially in the World Cup. If he succeeds, he could move from Lyon to a top 10 club. At Roc Nation, we strongly believe in him.”
“Liverpool, Bayern, Man City - these are the clubs he should be at.”
Last season, Fofana scored 11 goals in 41 matches for Lyon. At 17, he made his debut in the main squad of the Belgian club Gent, gaining valuable experience.
Lyon has set a price of 51.5 million pounds for their star player, hoping for a significant profit.
However, as a result, the new forward for Arne Slot became Alexander Isak, who was signed along with Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz.
Only the Start of His International Career
Fofana has already managed to step onto the pitch for the Belgian national team, having three calls and one goal. However, Rudy Garcia and his team still need to work hard to secure their participation in the World Cup.
Belgium currently sits in second place in qualifying group J, one point behind leaders North Macedonia and level with Wales.

Fofana is trying to elevate his game both at the club and for the national team. His potential and desire to showcase his skills on the world stage could open doors to big teams for him. A successful campaign at the World Cup could provide him with even more transfer opportunities, making his performances in the coming months especially crucial for his career. Read also
