According to The Sun: The popular winter destination has become even less accessible for travelers. Air India has canceled flights from London (Gatwick airport) to Goa, resulting in numerous reports of flight cancellations for passengers who have already purchased tickets.

Only indirect flights between Gatwick and Goa remain on the Air India website, which require layovers in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.

The reason for the cancellation of direct flights was the crash of flight AI171, which was flying from Ahmedabad to Gatwick on June 12, 2025. Initially, the restoration of flights was planned for October, but this now seems unlikely.

Goa, known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere, has temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C year-round.

Among the famous beaches are Calangute and Baga in the north, as well as Palolem and Agonda in the south of Goa. While relaxing on the beaches, visitors can explore the Anjuna market with hundreds of stalls or head to the Dudhsagar waterfall, where they can plunge into cool water.
