Closure of British bank branches
A well-known British bank, with over 28 million customers, is closing several of its branches this week. The bank, which has been in operation for 260 years and has become the largest digital bank in the UK, previously announced a number of closures taking effect this month.Lloyds has confirmed the closure of 17 of its branches, seven of which have already closed in the last few days.'Lloyds confirmed that it is closing 17 of its branches...'These changes are part of the bank's strategy to adapt to the growing demand for digital services, as more and more customers are using online banking.
