Next stores closing for Christmas
According to The Sun: Famous fashion brand Next, which has over 500 stores nationwide, has decided to close its doors for two days next week. The stores will not operate on Christmas Day and St. Stephen's Day.
For many years, long queues have formed outside Next stores on Boxing Day, but this year customers will not be able to get inside.
“We have made the decision to close stores on these two days for the benefit of our employees and their families,” said company representatives.
These two days are meant to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the holidays without the hassle of shopping.
This decision from the company deserves attention, as it highlights the importance of work-life balance. Closing stores during the holidays could serve as an example for other businesses that may also consider distributing workloads during this special time.
