According to The Sun: The well-known retail store 'The Works' has launched a major promotion on hundreds of toys and gifts again. This happened ahead of Christmas when many supermarkets are offering their discounts on toys.

'The Works' is a discount store where you can find toys, games, and stationery products, as well as arts and crafts materials at over 500 locations across the UK and Ireland.

The store was founded in 1981 as a book discounter and has grown into a large chain of 525 shops by the beginning of September 2025. For example, the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser usually costs £550, but it can now be purchased for £440, allowing you to save £120 on a limited batch.

Similar discounts apply to some products from the popular Lego Harry Potter line. Those who love visiting Diagon Alley can buy the Ollivander's shop set and robes for ordering at a reduced price – £64 instead of the usual £80.
