Macron Initiates International Forum on Nuclear Safety.
President of France Emmanuel Macron announced that France would hold a conference on nuclear safety. According to him, this is the fulfillment of commitments made earlier. "France is organizing a nuclear safety conference on October 17 as part of the work that began in Switzerland," Macron noted at a press briefing. This information is reported by Ukrinform.
Macron also said that the Group of Seven had already made important decisions regarding support for Ukraine, and an important meeting with the European Council will be held next week.
"We discussed the work plan for the coming weeks, particularly in the military and diplomatic spheres. And we are moving forward in accordance with our agreements," noted the French president.
Additionally, Macron praised the training of Ukrainian soldiers, which he visited the previous day. He called them a "unique model of cooperation" and believes that it demonstrates France's support for Ukrainian resistance in the face of the threat of Russian aggression.
