A court hearing took place in Transcarpathia regarding a conscript accused of evading military service. After registering at the military recruitment center, he escaped from the recruitment point.

Case Details
The convicted individual voluntarily appeared at the military recruitment center, where he underwent a medical examination that deemed him partially fit for military service. After that, he was sent to a military unit in Mukachevo. However, during his stay at the collection point, the convicted person climbed over the fence and escaped.
During the court hearing, he admitted his guilt, explaining his actions by the necessity of solving family problems, as he had a sick wife and a minor daughter at home.
Court Decision
Despite admitting his guilt, the court decided to impose a punishment of three years of imprisonment.
It was previously reported that border guards detained another evader who called himself a marine. There was also information about more than a dozen conscripts who planned to escape to Moldova from the Odesa region.
The court in Transcarpathia reviewed the case of the conscript who escaped from the recruitment point after the medical examination. Despite admitting his guilt, he was sentenced to a long punishment of three years of imprisonment.
