Successes of the ManCity Academy

The ManCity academy has produced several successful footballers since 2016. Many of them have made a career under Pep Guardiola.

Notably, Phil Foden has become a key player for the team. Since his debut in 2016, he has scored 100 goals and provided 61 assists in 320 matches for ManCity.

Foden has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cup trophies, four Carabao Cup trophies, and the Champions League in 2023. In 2024, he also received the award for PFA Player of the Year.

Guardiola's squad also includes Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb. James McAtee, on the other hand, spent two successful years on loan at Sheffield United before moving to Nottingham Forest for 30 million pounds this summer.

Additionally, Cole Palmer, who was seen as Phil Foden's successor, quickly became one of the Premier League's biggest stars after moving to Chelsea for 42.5 million pounds in 2023. He has scored 43 goals and provided 29 assists in 98 matches and has won the Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
