Scholes, 50, was spotted serving amazed visitors at the Castle Hotel in the northern part of Manchester.

In a clip that quickly went viral on social media, the legend of the 'Red Devils' looked surprised as he began pouring beer.

He also chatted with a patron sitting at the bar before turning to other drinks on tap.
