Manchester United failed in transfer negotiations: Two players declined the club's offers.
According to The Sun: According to sources, Manchester United received rejections for their offers for two midfielders on the day the transfer window closed.
The team was looking for new reinforcements after signing goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.

The second candidate was Conor Gallagher, who is known to play for Chelsea.

However, his club did not agree, as they only sought a permanent transfer.
Additionally, they also rejected the loan offer from Crystal Palace, one of Gallagher's former clubs.
Target for the Summer
United's main target for the summer was Carlos Baleba from Brighton.
However, the club decided not to pursue it further after a £100 million inquiry for his transfer came in.
They may try again next year to sign this player, as Baleba seems to be interested in a move.
