Manchester United spent £4,000 on boots in Norway due to lost luggage.
According to The Sun: The football club "Manchester United" urgently spent almost £4,000 on boots and shin guards before the Champions League match.
The "United" women's team flew on a charter flight from Manchester to Norway to play in the first leg of the Champions League qualifying against SK Brann.

The team, managed by Marc Skinner, lost a crucial match 1-0, but hopes to improve the result in the second leg at Leigh Sports Village next week, trying to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in history.
In an interesting situation, the club found out that a bag with some players' boots went missing during transportation to Bergen.
Lisa Naalsund, one of the stars of the team, confirmed to TV2 that she asked her mother to bring her boots to the stadium because her own got lost.
“Several pairs of boots went missing. We're still not quite sure where they are, it happened right before we left for the stadium, so there was a bit of chaos.”
For other players who didn't have boots, club representatives went to a local sports store, Torshov Sports, less than three hours before the game at 16:30 local time.
Store manager Andre Gullord told BBC Sport that "United" purchased 15 pairs of boots and 20 sets of shin guards, spending around £4,000 on the improvised purchases.
“We are a large store, but they were lucky that we had enough boots in the right sizes.”
“They paid between £200 and £230 for a pair of boots and £30 for shin guards.”
“There have been cases where individual players came in forgetting their boots, but never the entire team.”
“Maybe we should have told them that we only had boots without studs to help the local team!”
“United” started the Women's Super League season with a 4-0 victory over "Leicester" at home.
Now they are preparing for an away trip to South London, where they will meet newly appointed "London City Lionesses" this Sunday.
The next game, which will be crucial for their Champions League participation, will take place shortly before a tough match against Champions League holders "Arsenal" and a game against "Liverpool".
