Nicky Butt's Doubts About Benjamin Sesko's Move to Manchester United

According to The Sun: Nicky Butt, a treble-winning champion with Manchester United, expressed concerns about potential mistakes by the club regarding the signing of Benjamin Sesko.

The 22-year-old forward, who transferred from RB Leipzig, has yet to score for the 'Red Devils', although his transfer could cost the club up to £74 million.

Butt believes that the risk of repeating mistakes similar to that of Rasmus Hojlund's transfer truly exists. Hojlund also arrived for a large sum from a foreign league, and his career at United has essentially ended, as he was sent out on loan to Napoli with a buy option.

“I know [Matheus] Cunha has performed really well in recent seasons, but I would prefer to see an experienced striker.'

“I hope I’m wrong, but I want them to avoid the same mistakes with [Benjamin] Sesko as they did with Rasmus [Hojlund].”

He added that young players need support from more experienced colleagues to fulfill their potential. Currently, the team under Ruben Amorim has scored only four goals in three matches.

Overall, Manchester United has spent £200 million on newcomers, trying to enhance the team's creativity, but their irresponsibility in capitalizing on opportunities still leads to the loss of points.
