Musk to Get an Office in the White House Complex - NYT.
American entrepreneur Elon Musk, who has been appointed head of the new Department of Efficiency in the Trump administration, will have his offices in the White House complex alongside the future President of the United States.
According to NYT, citing sources familiar with the new administration's plans, Musk will use space in the White House complex when the Department of Efficiency begins its work, which aims to reduce government spending in the Trump administration.
The offices of the new department will be located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, next to the White House.
This will provide Musk, who has companies with billion-dollar contracts with the federal government, direct access to the newly elected President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, it is unclear whether Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk's partner, will have office space in the Eisenhower Building.
