Jockey Mick Fitzgerald, who won the Grand National, commented on the situation on the track for Sky. He explained that the delay occurred due to concerns raised by other jockeys regarding the protocol of actions before and after Noonan was injured.
Delays in Races
The third race, scheduled for 15:12, started only at 15:46. The fourth race, which was supposed to start at 15:42, began only at 16:26.
Strangely, after the first race at 14:12, another investigation was initiated regarding the actions of the starter. Due to the chaos of a false start, nine jockeys were suspended for misconduct.
