Gabby Logan's Son Asks Her Not to Talk About Sex on Podcasts: What Happened.
According to The Sun: Gabby Logan's son, Ruben Logan, shared that he has repeatedly asked her to stop discussing her sex life on podcasts.
Ruben Logan, 52-year-old son of TV presenter Gabby and former international rugby player Kenny, talked about one of the discussions on the podcast The Mid Point, during which her recordings started to be broadcast in the hall of his rugby club.
Gabby Logan's son, Ruben, shared how he asked her to stop discussing her sex life The discussion arose after Ruben's father, Kenny, was diagnosed with prostate cancer
Gabby and Kenny openly discussed the effects of his treatment, including erectile dysfunction
In 2022, Kenny was diagnosed with prostate cancer, after which he underwent treatment and a successful operation.
After Kenny's recovery, 53, he appeared alongside Gabby on her podcast, where they openly discussed the aftermath of the treatment, including issues of sexual health.
Research shows that up to 76% of men suffer from erectile dysfunction after prostate cancer treatment.
Although openness about such sensitive topics has its advantages, Ruben admitted that he faced ridicule because of these conversations. As a player for Sale Sharks, he humorously said: 'I was very clear: 'Can you please stop?''.
'I remember that the podcast was broadcast in the Saints' hall for half an hour. It was only my second or third month there!'
Gabby also accidentally revealed information about her son's joining Sharks during a separate conversation last year.
'And [unlike the transfer news], it wasn't a mistake! She openly discussed it.'
Laughing, he added: 'But yes, I got my share of teasing from a few guys who knew me when [the transfer news] came out. Mom didn't think it was a serious problem.'
Gabby also shared her son's reaction to her podcast.
'He says: 'Mom, can you stop talking about your sex life? I come to work, and they replay clips in the locker room. It would be nice if you just shut up for a while.'
'And I say: 'Actually, Ruben, in the next episode - we're talking about that again.'
Kenny also talked about how he felt on the podcast in 2023:
'Six months later, I feel physically 100%, mentally 100%, I feel good.'
Ruben commented on how his father's cancer diagnosis affected him, noting that it was a shock, as 'you never think something like this will happen to your dad.'
This situation reflects the importance of openly discussing health and sexuality issues, particularly in the context of fighting cancer. Paradoxically, even in such sensitive topics, sometimes there is room for humor, which can ease the perception of difficult life circumstances.
