According to The Sun: McDonald's fans can rejoice — thanks to a new promotion, they can get a Big Mac meal for just £2.99. But don’t wait too long!
Fans can buy a burger and fries for just £2.99 with this new offer AFPCustomers are already actively discussing this offer on the McDonald's app and sharing news online.
This offer is a great opportunity to save on a meal that includes a burger and fries. For £2.99 you can choose one of the classic burgers: Big Mac, Cheeseburger, Chicken Sandwich, Filet-O-Fish, Veggie Deluxe, or McPlant.
The meal also includes a medium portion of fries.
The offer is available in the 'Rewards and Offers' section of the McDonald's app.

Note that the offer will end next Tuesday, so hurry.
McDonald's stated that this promotion cannot be combined with other discounts and also does not apply to items purchased as part of other meals.
Also, there may be additional delivery charges.

Changes to the McDonald's menu
This offer comes against the backdrop of the popular chain recently removing eight menu items during an update.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that several items will soon disappear to make way for new products.
Starting September 10, Sprite Zero with syrup will be removed from the menu.
This drink was offered with green apple or mango and passion fruit options for £2.19 per serving.
The new McFlurry flavor – Jaffa Cakes, which appeared in July, will also disappear.

Despite the removal of some items, McDonald's plans to bring back favorite dishes.
mozzarella dippers (£2.59) will become available with sour sauce, and the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich (£6.29) will appear in venues this fall.
New dishes will also be added to the menu, including the new Loaded Caramel McFlurry, which will hit the shelves on September 10.
