McVitie’s has released the festive Penguin box for the first time: what’s inside.

According to The Sun: Sweet lovers can treat themselves to a new box of Penguin cookies.

McVitie’s has announced its first-ever Penguin Selection Box as part of its festive product line. The box (recommended retail price – £3) contains six types of Penguin cookies in various flavors.

The box includes two original milk Penguin cookies, one mint-flavored, one orange-flavored, and two bags of mini cookies.

The cookie bags are available in Cocoa and Cocoa with Orange flavors.

McVitie’s noted that the packaging features bright festive colors with well-known penguin jokes, and there is a maze and word game on the back.

Although some observant shoppers have already spotted this box on the shelves of Asda, it is not yet available in the online store.

The product is also listed with Tesco, where it is currently marked as “out of stock.”

Other festive novelties

The festive line from McVitie’s also includes a commemorative tin of Chocolate Digestives, celebrating 100 years since its inception. The 340g tin contains cookies with milk, dark, and white chocolate.

This tin can be found exclusively at Sainsbury’s for a price of £7.50.

This winter, a pack of Flipz Gingerbread Flavour Coated Pretzels is also offered (recommended retail price – £2).

McVitie’s adds a festive touch to its popular White Digestives cookies, giving the packaging a design with snowflakes and snowmen.

Not only McVitie’s is presenting new festive products. The M&S Christmas line for 2025 will feature novelties like Original Peanut Butter & Jelly Munch and Peanut Butter & Jelly Spread.

The popular Munch tins first appeared in 2021, but this year their new version received an American flavor with notes of peanut butter and jelly.

Last year, the M&S Very Merry Munch tin was recognized as “perfect for movie night parties.”

Lovers of Marmite can try the new Pecan & Salted Caramel Blondies with a hint of marmite, along with a new Marmite caramel sauce from M&S.

The company Mars has also introduced new festive chocolate treats, including the Milky Way advent calendar, available exclusively at Asda for the first time.

If you are a Tesco shopper, you can purchase a new pack of Galaxy Miniatures.

Shoppers quickly noticed the new packaging on supermarket shelves, with some commenting in the Snack Reviews Facebook group: “This packaging is perfect,” noted one user.

“I need this,” added another.

The 260g packaging contains a variety of Galaxy chocolate confectioneries, individually wrapped in Smooth Milk and Caramel flavors.
