Doctors do not know how to treat them. The fate of the Russians who infiltrated Suja through a pipe has become known.
According to Bild, the Russian military stationed in the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region are facing difficulties. They infiltrated an unused gas pipeline while trying to carry out a secret attack on Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces noticed the enemy and killed approximately 100 Russian soldiers.
According to the publication, the surviving soldiers are experiencing serious lung problems, with one of the main theories being methane poisoning. A doctor compared their condition to a severe case of Covid and noted that treatment is problematic.
Russian assault troops seeped near the city of Suja in the Kursk region through the 'Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod' gas pipeline. They took positions near Suja, with the number of Russian soldiers reaching hundreds. North Korean forces also participated in the offensive.
According to Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Miroslav Hay, Ukrainian paratroopers knew in advance about the enemy's plans and organized an ambush for the occupiers, blocking the exit from the gas pipeline. It is worth noting that the American mortar system M120 was left behind during the retreat from the Kursk region.
At the time of the Russian army's breakthrough, Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region were weakened, and most commanders ordered the troops to retreat until receiving appropriate orders from higher command.
