Merz: Russia attacks Europe's infrastructure daily to destabilize.
According to inkorr.com: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz believes that Russia is daily committing aggressive acts against Europe, attempting to destabilize the situation by attacking infrastructure. He emphasized that the Kremlin's actions are directed not only at Ukraine but also at democracy throughout the European space.
'Yes, I see Putin. He interferes everywhere. We know well that he attacks our infrastructure every day and tries to influence public opinion,' Merz said.
Merz called on Western countries to provide support to Ukraine in its fight for democracy against Russian aggression. He also agreed with French President Macron, who characterized Putin as a 'cannibal' and a 'predator' who does not believe in peaceful solutions.
According to The New York Times, Russia has committed several attacks in various European countries – these include fires, attacks on buildings, as well as attempts to damage infrastructure to undermine stability in the EU and reduce support for Kyiv. Russian intelligence continues to actively seek agents to carry out attacks in various countries.
Friedrich Merz emphasizes that Russia's aggressive policy poses a serious threat to democracy in Europe and calls on European states to unite their efforts in support of Ukraine in its opposition to Russian aggression.
The situation in Ukraine remains tense, and support from European countries is extremely important. Every manifestation of solidarity with the Ukrainian people helps preserve democratic values in the region, which has become a concern for many European leaders.
