Pensions in Ukraine will increase from April: who and by how much will be added.
Increase in payments for recipients of Universal Credit and other social assistance
According to The Sun: Millions of people receiving Universal Credit and other forms of social assistance will see an increase in their payments this April, despite rising social security costs in the UK. Financial support such as Universal Credit, PIP, and care assistance is adjusted annually to match the rising cost of living.
The government typically uses September's inflation data to determine how much to increase payments.
"The increase in social payments reflects the government's efforts to support citizens amid the rising cost of living," government representatives stated.
Thus, recipients of social payments can expect more funding amid economic instability.
This government decision aims to ease the economic burden on citizens facing rising prices. Increasing payments, particularly in the context of inflation, will be an important step in supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population during this challenging time.
