Additional Payments for Christmas
According to The Sun: Millions of people receiving social benefits will soon get extra assistance. The Department for Work and Pensions has announced a one-off bonus of £10 ahead of Christmas Day for all recipients.
All pensioners receiving state support will be entitled to this payment, regardless of their income. Additionally, those who receive one of over 20 other types of benefits may also expect the £10 bonus if they meet certain criteria.
“This bonus is intended to support people during difficult winter times.”
This initiative aims to help the most vulnerable groups in society amid rising living costs during the winter season. The additional payments could provide crucial support for many struggling with financial difficulties.
