Racist abuse of Millwall player on social media: club condemns incident.
Millwall condemns racist abuse
According to The Sun: The Millwall team expressed its outrage over the racist abuse directed at Femi Aziz following the defeat to Hull City. The 24-year-old midfielder was sent off in the 76th minute of Saturday's match, which ended with a score of 3-1 at The Den stadium, after a challenge on Kyle Joseph.
According to the club, the midfielder received racist taunts on social media after the match.
“We completely condemn such actions and will cooperate with authorities to identify those responsible”
This situation once again highlights the issue of racism in the world of sports and the importance of accountability. Millwall Club emphasizes its commitment to combating hate and urges everyone to support such initiatives. Supporting players and maintaining integrity both on and off the field remain important aspects of sporting culture.
