Minimum Hourly Wage to Increase in 2026: What the Rate Will Be.
Changes in Labor Payment in Ukraine in 2026
According to Novyny.live: In 2026, the amount of guaranteed hourly wage in Ukraine will increase according to legislation. This decision stipulates that the monthly minimum wage will be 8647 hryvnias. Accordingly, the hourly minimum wage in 2026 will be 52 hryvnias.
Regulation of hourly wage issues is governed by Law No. 108 'On Labor Payment', while Law No. 4695-IX 'On the State Budget' establishes minimum wage levels. The hourly tariff rate for employees can amount to, for example, 80 hryvnias, indicating the potential for employees to earn more under higher rates.
Impact of Innovations on Salaries
According to the new conditions, in January 2026, for 176 worked hours, the salary will be 14.08 thousand hryvnias, and in February 2026, for 160 worked hours, the salary will amount to 12.8 thousand hryvnias. These changes in the field of labor payment may affect the economic situation in the country and improve the well-being of workers.
The introduction of a new minimum wage and hourly wage in Ukraine in 2026 aims to improve the financial condition of workers and ensure better living conditions. Such changes may contribute to an increase in consumer demand, which, in turn, may positively impact the economic growth of the country.
It is important that these innovations are accompanied by effective mechanisms for monitoring compliance with labor rights and employers' obligations.
