The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the introduction into operation of the Roshel Senator MRAP armored vehicle, manufactured in Canada. This vehicle joined the fleet of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian army, which already includes more than 20 MRAP-class armored vehicles.
The Roshel Senator MRAP armored vehicle has a special design that provides protection for the crew and landing force from bullets and shrapnel. It also has a V-shaped hull that dissipates the energy of a mine or other explosive device. The vehicle is equipped with a reinforced chassis, all-wheel drive, and a powerful turbo diesel engine. It also has a winch and "night" lights, making it versatile for front-line conditions.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to modernize armored vehicles, developing new models and improving existing ones. Earlier, the modernization of the domestic armored personnel carrier "Khorunzhiy" was announced, as well as the presentation of the "Lyut 2.0" combat platform of the Ukrainian brigade "Azov".
The state continues to invest significant funds in security and defense. In July alone, 161.6 billion UAH were allocated from the state budget for these needs.
