Ministry of Defense publishes the results of the recruitment centers' work.
Joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense reports that last week 853 Ukrainians turned to recruitment centers, and 197 of them have already begun the first steps towards service in the Defense Forces.
In total, since the start of the centers' operations, 22,763 people have already used the services of these centers. Of them, 5,612 candidates are currently in the stage of job searching and processing.
It is noted that 81% of the volunteers serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are men, while 19% are women.
The Ministry of Defense also emphasized that recruitment centers offer more than 10,000 vacancies, including positions for lawyers, accountants, UAV operators, medical professionals, psychologists, and other specialists. Moreover, recruiters provide consultations without issuing draft notices.
It is worth mentioning that a recruitment service has appeared in the "Reserv+" app. It provides Ukrainians the opportunity to find the most suitable vacancy in the military. Thanks to collaboration with Lobby X, the service offers over 4,000 open positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, the "Diia" app has introduced the possibility of joining the Army of Drones. After submitting an application, a person can choose the unit in which they want to serve, and they will undergo basic military training with a contract already signed. The fitness for service is also confirmed independently at the application stage, so there is no need to undergo a military medical commission.
