The Ministry of Defense reported how many Ukrainians are reserved from mobilization.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havrylyuk, more than 900,000 conscripts have already been reserved from mobilization. During the next week, this number may increase to 1 million. Havrylyuk emphasized the importance of having a balanced state defense, where some fight and others work on defense.
It was noted that Russia is not reducing its presence in the occupied territories of Ukraine. At the beginning of the year, the number of Russian military personnel was 440,000, now this number has increased to about 600,000, and it is expected to increase to 800,000 by the end of the year.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made changes to the rules for deferment from mobilization, dividing one of the categories that gives the right to deferment. The process of reserving from mobilization for employees of companies engaged in transportation has also been simplified.
According to the information, critically important enterprises and those working for the needs of the Security and Defense Forces have reserved about 160,000 employees using the "Diia" system.
