Doctors at 'Okhmatdyt' decided not to abandon their mission even during the attack of the Russian Federation. They successfully performed organ transplants for three children, who received a chance for a new life.
- A 16-year-old girl with Wilson-Konovalov disease received a liver.
- A 14-year-old boy, who had been on dialysis for a long time, received kidneys.
Despite the danger and circumstances, the operations lasted more than 13 hours, and the transplantation process took place in a tense environment during the shelling.
