The Ministry of Defense has identified reserve centers to support military personnel released from captivity.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has decided to establish two reserve centers to support military personnel released from captivity. These centers, located in the central region, will provide medical and psychological assistance to the defenders.

'Right now we are creating a support system for our military personnel who have experienced captivity. Each reintegration center will have specialists for an individual approach to rehabilitation - from medical examinations to psychological adaptation,' said Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Mykyta Nikitenko.

The decision to establish such centers was made based on the law of Ukraine 'On Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine on Ensuring the Rights of Military Personnel and Police Officers to Social Protection'. According to this law, military personnel released from captivity are required to undergo reintegration activities and receive post-isolation support.

Reserve centers will be able to respond quickly to the needs of military personnel released from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense, and the State Special Transport Service.
