Ministry of Defense acquired 1000 ATVs for the Armed Forces: how the equipment will change the situation at the front.
According to inkorr.com: The signing of a contract for the purchase of 1,000 maneuverable vehicles through the Prozorro platform from the Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine was an important step for the development of the defense sector. ATVs and other additional transport will allow military personnel to respond faster to the situation at the front and create conditions for operational actions in difficult circumstances.
According to the results of the auctions, in particular, the supply of 500 ATVs for a total of UAH 119.8 million has been contracted. This is 25.5% less than the expected cost. The equipment is to be delivered by the end of 2025.
The General Director of the Procurement Agency, Arsen Zhumadilov, emphasized: 'This procurement will help increase the mobility of military units, ensure cost savings and transparency in the procurement process.'
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intends to continue responding to the needs of military units by providing them with modern equipment based on front-line priorities.
The signing of a contract for the procurement of maneuverable vehicles through Prozorro is an important stage in equipping military units with modern equipment, which will significantly increase their mobility and operational efficiency in combat conditions.
This agreement will not only simplify logistics and mobility for the military but also confirms Ukraine's commitment to providing its defenders with everything necessary to carry out their tasks. The ATVs will serve as an important factor in quickly responding to changes in the combat situation, which, in turn, will enhance the overall effectiveness of military actions.
