The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has purchased new body armor
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has for the first time acquired modular body armor in an extended configuration 1-11. This allows for a larger area of protection due to additional modular elements. This decision was made as a result of the changing situation on the front, where over 90% of military injuries are caused by fragments and shrapnel. The new protective elements include protection for the forearms, shins, and coccyx, which not only increases the level of protection but also improves adaptability to different combat conditions. The new body armor has a high level of protection, capable of stopping pistol bullets and shrapnel moving at high speeds. The protection for the forearms and shins also serves to protect the knees and elbows, providing additional comfort and safety during combat missions. This expanded configuration of body armor contributes to increasing the soldiers' level of protection and improving their adaptation to various combat scenarios. The products are made from ceramic composite materials in the camouflage color MM-14 ('pixel').The new body armor has become an extremely important element in ensuring the safety of Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines. With their help, soldiers will be able to protect themselves more effectively and perform their tasks better in conditions of active combat. Such measures strengthen the country's defense capabilities and enhance the combat readiness of the Ukrainian forces.
