Peace in Ukraine and Minority Rights: What Sibiga and Szijjártó Discussed.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga met with Hungarian Minister Péter Szijjártó in Budapest.

During the meeting, the main issues were achieving peace in Ukraine, punishing Russia for aggression, and President Volodymyr Zelensky's plans.

Sibiga thanked Hungary for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and participating in EU sanctions against Russia. He also expressed gratitude for humanitarian aid and Hungary's participation in Ukraine's reconstruction projects.

The situation on the front lines and temporarily occupied territories was also discussed, where Sibiga expressed hope for continued Hungarian support of Ukrainian initiatives.

Special attention was given to the issue of national minorities. Sibiga welcomed the opening of the first bilingual school for Ukrainian children in Hungary, which he visited himself.

The Minister emphasized that Ukraine is fulfilling its obligations regarding the rights of the Hungarian national community and that Hungarians are an important part of Ukraine's political nation and a bridge between the two countries.

After the tête-à-tête talks, negotiations were held with delegations from both countries.
