Significance of the Urban Planning Cadastre
The UPC serves as a digital foundation for implementing important state programs in the field of territory restoration and development. Based on the cadastre function:
- Unified State Electronic System in the Field of Construction
- Registry of Damaged and Destroyed Property (RPD)
- DIGITAL Ecosystem DREAM
- Program 'eRestoration'
Thus, communities receive a modern tool for transparent territory management and planning restoration based on quality digital data. Online training lasted five months and covered communities and local administrations of 23 regions of Ukraine; training was conducted by experts of the State Enterprise 'Administrator of the Urban Planning Cadastre at the National Level'.
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development noted that more than 2,000 representatives from over 1,000 communities successfully completed training on the use of the Urban Planning Cadastre at the national level. This has led to the upload of a significant amount of urban planning documentation into the system, which will promote transparent management of territories and infrastructure in Ukraine.
Thanks to the training on the use of the Urban Planning Cadastre, communities will be able to manage their territories more effectively. The implementation of digital tools opens new opportunities for planning and decision-making in the field of urban planning, which is especially important in the context of recovery after crisis situations. Projects involving communities promise to increase the level of transparency and accountability in land and resource management.Read also
