Customs revealed violations totaling 10.7 billion: which goods and fines.
According to inkorr.com: The State Customs Service of Ukraine reported the detection of serious violations of customs regulations totaling 10.7 billion hryvnias.
Details of violations
In particular, in 2,934 cases, items of violations worth 966 million hryvnias were temporarily seized. These items include industrial goods, vehicles, currency, and food products. In 1,777 cases, fines totaling 52 million hryvnias were imposed, of which 51 million has already been collected into the State Budget. Additionally, 4,613 cases totaling over 10.3 billion hryvnias have been submitted to the court, resulting in penalties amounting to 4 billion hryvnias.
Current status of cases
According to the information from the State Customs Service, the identified violations of customs regulations worth 10.7 billion hryvnias remain under review. Although more than half of the amount has already been collected, there are still many cases awaiting consideration in the courts.
This situation underscores the importance of enforcing compliance with customs regulations in Ukraine, as significant amounts relate to potential risks for the economy. The State Customs Service will continue its efforts to combat violations to ensure fairness and legality in customs procedures.
