Mobilization without TCK. The brigade commander who withdrew from Vuhledar reported on the new rules for completing certain units.
Military units in Ukraine now have the opportunity to independently recruit civilians for service, bypassing Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCK). Oleksandr Okhrimenko, the brigade commander of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhzhia, called this decision of the Armed Forces "correct" and explained its details in an interview with "Glavkom".
Okhrimenko explained that there were previously cases where civilians planning to serve under the command of certain units, for various reasons, were not assigned to these units after training. Now, according to the new Cabinet of Ministers resolution, military units can themselves recruit personnel according to the procedure defined by the General Staff.
How does it work? A candidate who wants to serve under the command of a particular commander or unit arrives at the military unit, receives a referral to the Military Lyceum Commission (VLC) from this unit, undergoes an interview, and is then considered for enlistment in the list of this military unit. After this, he is sent for basic training to the training center, after which he returns to his unit, which is under recovery, Okhrimenko explained.
When the personnel is completed, the units will undergo coordination of departments, platoons, companies to prepare for joint work. Okhrimenko also expressed hope that this decision will positively affect the motivation of the personnel and provide the unit with the appropriate specialists.
About Commander Okhrimenko
It should be noted that Oleksandr Okhrimenko was entrusted with leading the 72nd brigade at a Time when Vuhledar, which it defended, was already almost surrounded by the enemy. He replaced Ivan Vynnyk in this position, who was appointed to a new higher position for the purpose of transferring combat experience and advancing in service. On October 2, the General Staff officially announced that Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from Vuhledar. "Glavkom" talked with commander Okhrimenko to learn more about how they withdrew from Vuhledar, why it took so long, and what the situation is on this front section.
